Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and conducting theoretical and practical research
- Develop, test and analyse new technologies, materials, methods and devices
- Utilize computational tools for data analysis and simulations
- Design and improve of the implants and MEMS based sensors
- Ongoing collaboration with the team engineers, scientists, and technicians to integrate physics-based solutions into products or processes
- Prepare scientific and technical reports, publications, and patent applications
- Ensure compliance with medical industry regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- PhD or MSc. in Applied Physics/ Physics or related fields
- Additional technological degrees- Advantage
- 7+ years of research and industrial proven experience in applied physics
Skills & Qualifications:
- Highly experienced with semiconductor physics and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving approach
- Proficiency in computational modelling (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++)
- Experienced in ultrasound physics and ultrasound transducers: theory, design and applications- Advantage
- Highly experienced with lab instrumentation, experimental techniques.
- Data analysis and statistics high hands-on capabilities
- Ability to work independently and to be part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Industry experience in medical devices development– Advantage
