Joining Microtech in 2018, Amir leads the research and development, operations, product development, core technologies and intellectual property for our implantable microsensor company. He specializes at identifying scientific principles and translating them into applied medical technologies. Some of his scientific background includes deep understanding of physical principles in building microsensors integrating physics, mechanical, electronic and software engineering. Previously, Amir held VP R&D position at Valve Medical Ltd. were he led the development of a trans-catheter heart valve and ancillary devices. Earlier in his carrier, Amir fulfilled leading research and project management roles in various medical, green-tech and high-tech companies.
Amir holds a B.Sc. in life science and physics (cum laude), M.Sc. in physics (summa cum laude) and an MBA, Tel Aviv University, Israel
