Job Description:
- Involvement in all development stages of delivery systems (catheters).
- Development of control handles for delivery systems.
- Hands-on work, including assembly of initial prototypes.
- Improvement and development of manufacturing processes.
- Transition from development to production and ongoing production support.
- Guidance of production and laboratory technicians.
- Planning, execution, and documentation of experiments and mechanical tests for development and verification.
- Design of testing equipment and experimental fixtures.
- Process documentation.
- Collaboration with subcontractors domestically and internationally.
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting.
- Cost reduction initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experienced Mechanical Engineer with at least 7 years of development experience (university or Technion graduate preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in medical device development.
- Experience with polymer materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in writing technical documents, specifications, test protocols, and processing results.
- High technical proficiency.
- Hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Experience with precision mechanics.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Innovative thinker with a systems-oriented perspective.
- High-level English proficiency.
